Wystawa Haftu Kaszubskiego w Żukowie | do 2.09
Od dwudziestu trzech lat Gminny Dom Kultury w Lini organizuje wojewódzki konkurs haftu kaszubskiego. To ten konkurs pozwolił i nadal pozwala upowszechniać piękno i oryginalność wszystkich szkół haftu kaszubskiego. Konkurs pozwala zapoznać się z elementami występującymi w poszczególnych szkołach haftu, zapoznać się z techniką wykonywania haftów i poznać zdolności kompozycyjne poszczególnych wykonawców.
W roku 2018 w konkursie udział wzięło 201 osób, w tym: 81 osób dorosłych, 28 uczestników z kategorii młodzież i 92 z kategorii dzieci. Łącznie na konkurs przekazano 431 prac ukazujących piękno wszystkich szkół haftu kaszubskiego. Do 10 sierpnia wystawę pokonkursową haftu można było podziwiać w GDK Linia. 13 sierpnia odbyło się uroczyste otwarcie wystawy w Centrum Zarządzania Kryzysowego w Żukowie, która otwarta dla zwiedzających będzie do 2 września br. W pięknej, obszernej sali wraz z hafciarzami z gminy Żukowo spotkali się włodarze Miasta i Gminy Żukowo. Uroczystego otwarcia dokonał Burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski. W otwarciu wystawy udział wzięli także m.in. Przewodniczący Rady Miejskiej Witold Szmidtke wraz z radnymi, dyrektor Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko Pomorskiej Tomasz Fopke. Edmund Szymikowski kustosz wystawy oraz Jan Trofimowicz Dyrektor GDK Linia z rąk Burmistrza otrzymali podziękowania za promocję haftu kaszubskiego szczególnie szkoły żukowskiej. Burmistrz wręczył upominki w postaci albumu „Zabytki Gminy Żukowo”. Kustosz wystawy przypomniał historię konkursu, a także wyraził wdzięczność za liczny udział hafciarek, a także młodego pokolenia hafciarzy z gminy Żukowo. Szczególe podziękowania padły dla wieloletnich uczestniczek konkursu Wandy Dzierzgowskiej, Bernadety Reglińskiej i Marii Płotka, które swój kunszt hafciarski przekazują kolejnym pokoleniom. Dyrektor GDK Linia podziękował władzom Żukowa, a także dyrekcji OKiS w Żukowie Aleksandrze Rogalewskiej – Kania, za współprace w przygotowaniu konkursu. Przekazał także zebranym informację o planach związanych z ekspozycją haftu w Sejmie RP. W br. podjęto starania, aby wystawa pokonkursowa eksponowana była w Sejmie RP. Dzięki ścisłej współpracy z Kancelarią Sejmu RP i Ministerstwem Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w dniach 03 – 10.10.2018 r. wystawę haftu z Lini będzie można podziwiać przed salą im. Jacka Kuronia w Sejmie RP. Patronat nad wystawą objął i udział w otwarciu potwierdził Marszałek Sejmu RP Marek Kuchciński. Poprzez wystawę promowany będzie haft kaszubski, a także twórcy ludowi z województw pomorskiego i kujawsko-pomorskiego, którzy kultywują tradycję hafciarską.
