Wystawa „Czysta woda i ochrona Zatoki Gdańskiej
Jak kaszubskie wybrzeże Bałtyku ze ścieku stało się turystycznym rajem – opowiada wystawa „Czysta woda i ochrona Zatoki Gdańskiej. Jak fundusze unijne zmieniły nasz region?”. Ekspozycję na gdańskiej starówce otworzono w ramach trwającego właśnie Forum Wodny Gdańsk.
– Wszystko to sprawiło, że po kilkunastu latach nasze plaże znowu są otwarte i zapełnione turystami – mówił dzisiaj minister środowiska, Maciej Grabowski.
Wystawa ilustruje unijne inwestycje zrealizowane w latach 2007-2013. To ponad 20 oczyszczalni ścieków, m.in. w Gdańsku, Dębogórzu,Gdyni czy Swarzewie, setki kilometrów nowoczesnej kanalizacji, a przede wszystkim mądry program zarządzania ściekami. Przygotowana przez Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska wystawa zwiedziła już 16 miejsc na Pomorzu. Zobaczyć ją mogli m.in. mieszkańcy Kartuz, Wejherowa,Lęborka czy Sierakowic.
