Wyremontowano zbiorniki retencyjne na Potoku Pętkowickim
W Wejherowie wyremontowano zbiorniki retencyjne na Potoku Pętkowickim. Inwestycja kosztowała miasto blisko 100 tys. zł i służyć będzie do okresowego przetrzymywania nadmiaru wód w czasie intensywnych opadów.
Pogłębiono w tym celu i oczyszczono dwa leśne stawy, wzmocniono ich brzegi, wyprofilowano rowy odpływowe. Wymieniono też elementy sterowania położeniem zastawy. Potok Pętkowicki jest jednym z największych dopływów rzeki Cedron. Zdarzało się, że podczas ulewy tworzył rozlewiska. Dotyczyło to zwłaszcza dolnych rejonów Wejherowa – m.in. w okolicy Specjalnego Ośrodka Szkolno-Wychowawczego nr 1 przy Sobieskiego. Modernizacja zbiorników retencyjnych ma zmniejszyć ryzyko zalewania i podtapiania ulic w Wejherowie. Kosztowała 98 tys zł.
