Wykształcą pracowników pierwszej polskiej elektrowni jądrowej
W Wejherowie będą szkolić przyszłych pracowników pierwszej polskiej elektrowni jądrowej. Ośrodek wspierania ich rozwoju zawodowego chce otworzyć wejherowskie starostwo powiatowe za 75 tysięcy złotych – pozyskanych od inwestora, spółki PGE EJ1 75 tysięcy złotych.
W Zespole Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 2, czyli popularnym „Elektryku” utworzone zostaną specjalistyczne pracownie fizyki jądrowej. Mimo że decyzja o lokalizacji elektrowni wciąż nie zapadła, wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius podkreśla, że proces kształcenia kadry pracowniczej jest bardzo długi i wymaga planowania z wyprzedzeniem. Utworzonych zostanie sześć stanowisk pomiarowo-badawczych, na których kształcić się będą przede wszystkim uczniowie uruchomionego w tym roku w Elektryku profilu technik – energetyk. Projekt przewiduje także zajęcia pozalekcyjne – m.in. kółko zainteresowań i otwarte wykłady. Jak przekonuje Gabriela Lisius – z tej inwestycji skorzystają nie tylko mieszkańcy powiatu wejherowskiego.
Całkowity koszt projektu to 80 tysięcy złotych z czego 75 tysięcy finansuje spółka PGE EJ1, a resztę dołoży powiatowy samorząd. Pracownie mają zacząć działać do końca bieżącego roku szkolnego.
