Wydłużyła się czerwona linia PKM
W Gdyni otwarto dzisiaj dwa nowe przystanki Czerwonej Linii Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej- Gdynia Karwiny i Gdynia Stadion. Dzięki temu PKM-ką dojedziemy przez Karwiny do gdyńskiego Stadionu Miejskiego.
Ich budowa kosztowała łącznie 25 i pół mln złotych – 4,5 mln wyłożyła Gdynia, 2 i pół miliona spółka PKP PLK, reszta pochodzi z budżetu samorządu wojewódzkiego. – Liczymy na duży wzrost liczby pasażerów, Karwiny to kilkudziesięciotysięczna dzielnica, biura przy stadionie to około 8 tys. miejsc pracy – podkreśla pomorski Marszałek, Mieczysław Struk. Emocje budzi kwestia rozkładu jazdy pociągów PKM Czerwonej Linii. – Kursy średnio co godzinę, bez zwiększonej częstotliwości w godzinach porannych, popołudniowego szczytu i wieczornych kursów na lotnisko to stanowczo za rzadko – mówi Łukasz Piesiewicz ze stowarzyszenia Miasto Wspólne. Pierwsze pociągi z przystanku Gdynia Karwiny i Gdynia Stadion wyjadą 10 grudnia. Z tej okazji na obu przystankach odbędzie się Dzień Otwarty – rozdawane będą pamiątkowe bilety, które będzie można wymienić na wejściówki na najbliższy mecz Arki Gdynia z Górnikiem Zabrze. Ci którzy przyjadą na nowe przystanki PKM pociągiem SKM, po okazaniu ważnego biletu dodatkowo będą mogli wygrać atrakcyjne gadżety.
