Ocalmy kaszubskiego gwiazdora – bąźmy dumni z naszej tradycji
O to apelujemy właśnie dzisiaj. Bo 6 grudnia upominki dzieciom przynosi święty Mikołaj, a już za 3 tygodnie z wielkim worem prezentów przybędzie starszy pan ubrany w baranią czapę i kożuch.
Popularny w ostatnich latach Mikołaj ubrany w czerwony strój upowszechnił się pod wpływem mass mediów oraz brytyjskiej i amerykańskiej tradycji. Temu sprzeciwiają się między innymi Kaszubi z Gdyni, z którym rozmawiała Ania Cupa-Dziemińska.
Mikołajki obchodzimy 6 grudnia na pamiątkę biskupa Mikołaja z Miry. Nie miał on czerwonego stroju i czapki, a jego atrybutami są infuła na głowie i pastorał w ręce.
