W Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni rozpoczynają dyżury wolontariusze, pomagający w korzystaniu z największej na świecie genealogicznej bazy danych.

Dostęp do zasobów Ancestry.com w gdyńskiej placówce jest od początku maja. Muzeum Emigracji jest pierwszą instytucją publiczną w Polsce, która umożliwia bezpłatne korzystanie z serwisu. Z bazy korzystać można bezpłatnie na sześciu multimedialnych stanowiskach. Warto się do tego przygotować. Korzystanie z bazy danych jest intuicyjne, pomaga w tym także broszura przygotowana przez Muzeum Emigracji. Dodatkowo od dzisiaj do 28 czerwca w każdy wtorek można skorzystać z asysty wolontariusza – w godzinach 15:00 – 17:00.
