Wójtowie podtrójmiejskich gmin walczą o podatników
Mieszkasz u nas, wymelduj się z Gdyni! Wójtowie podtrójmiejskich gmin walczą o podatników. Chodzi o mieszkańców, którzy osiedlili się np. w okolicach Szemuda, Kosakowa czy Luzina, ale zameldowani są w Gdańsku, Gdyni czy Sopocie.
– Jest o co walczyć, mówi wójt gminy Szemud Ryszard Kalkowski. I zastrzega – nie chodzi o rywalizację z Trójmiastem, tylko o dbałość o interesy naszych mieszkańców.
Podatki, które płacą – zamiast do gmin – trafiają do Trójmiasta. Oprócz pracy nad utożsamianiem się mieszkańców z regionem, są też inne pomysły. Gmina Szemud prowadzi już drugą edycję „konkursu meldunkowego”, w którym wygrać można tablety i telefony, natomiast wójt gminy Luzino Jarosław Wejer przestrzega, że brak meldunku może być również kosztowny. Samorządowcy liczą na poprawę sytuacji, efekty ich pracy są już widoczne. Np. w Szemudzie na przestrzeni ostatnich 4 lat liczba zameldowanych rośnie o około 100 osób rocznie, a w Redzie o niemal pół tysiąca.
