WOJEWÓDZTWO POMORSKIE: Bezpieczna droga do szkoły
Rozdają odblaski, uczą jak prawidłowo przechodzić przez jezdnię – policjanci odwiedzają szkoły w pomorskiem. To część dorocznej akcji „Bezpieczna droga do szkoły”.
W jej ramach na początku roku szkolnego policja apeluje do kierowców o szczególną ostrożność na drogach w okolicach szkół i przedszkoli. Apelom towarzyszy większa liczba patroli w tych miejscach i drobiazgowe kontrole. Policjanci odwiedzają też uczniów w szkołach – omawiają zasady bezpieczeństwa w czasie codziennej drogi do szkoły oraz rozdają książeczki edukacyjne i odblaski.
Joanna Skrent z Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Gdańsku. – podkreśla jednocześnie, że bezpieczeństwo dzieci zależy w dużej mierze od rodziców. Policjanci przypominają, że dzieci do 7. roku życia nie mogą samodzielnie poruszać się po drogach – należy zapewnić im opiekę osoby co najmniej dziesięcioletniej. Rodzice, którzy zawożą dzieci do szkoły powinni pamiętać o obowiązku przewożenia ich w fotelikach lub specjalnych siedziskach. Dotyczy to dzieci w wieku do 12 lat, które mają mniej niż 150 cm wzrostu.
