Jest zdrowsza i lepiej smakuje – woda wysokiej jakości popłynęła z kranów w Leśniewie w gminie Puck i w okolicznych miejscowościach. Zakończono tam rozbudowę i przebudowę stacji uzdatniania wody. Za ponad 3 i pół miliona złotych powstały m.in. zbiorniki retencyjne, unowocześniono technologię, wywiercono też nową studnię. Połowę kosztu pokryła unijna dotacja, była to ostatnia już w gminie inwestycja potrzebna by zakończyć problemy ze spadkami ciśnienia w sieci i jakością wody. W tej, która wcześniej płynęła z Leśniewa, było zbytu dożo żelaza i manganu. Teraz spełnia najwyższe normy i lepiej smakuje – co sprawdził wczoraj wójt gminy Puck toastem wzniesionym szklanką wody ze zmodernizowanej stacji. Zmodernizowana stacja uzdatniania wody w Leśniewie może wyprodukować 120 metrów sześciennych wody na godzinę, rozbudowano ją z myślą o rozwoju okolicznych miejscowości – czyli także Domatowa, Domatówka, Mechowa, Zdrady oraz Małej i Dużej Piaśnicy.
