Władze Redy przymierzają się do rozbudowy siedziby Urzędu Miejskiego. Wstępny kosztorys inwestycji to blisko 5 mln zł.
– Dzisiejsze rozwiązanie jest kłopotliwe i dla nas, i dla mieszkańców, stąd decyzja o rozbudowie – tłumaczy burmistrz Redy, Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Dzisiaj interesanci muszą ze swoimi sprawami przemieszczać się pomiędzy dwoma budynkami: starą siedzibą Urzędu przy ulicy Puckiej a odrestaurowanym, zabytkowym obiektem przy ulicy Gdańskiej, do którego w czerwcu ubiegłego roku przeniesiono część oddziałów. Dlatego redzcy samorządowcy chcą rozbudować siedzibę: na dotychczasowym parkingu urzędu powstanie nowe skrzydło połączone z budynkiem przy ul. Gdańskiej. Obecnie władze miasta przygotowują się do przetargu. Prace mają ruszyć w połowie lipca, a nowy obiekt ma być oddany do użytku w połowie przyszłego roku.
