Ulica odrębna ma poprawić komfort mieszkańców i usprawnić ruch
Ma poprawić komfort mieszkańców i usprawnić ruch. Władze miasta i powiatu wejherowskiego oddały dziś do użytku wybudowaną ulicę Odrębną.
– W ostatnich tygodniach zakończono tam prace modernizacyjne m. in. na ulicach Leśnej, Wschodniej, Poprzecznej i Środkowej. Choć to dzielnica na uboczu miasta, to mamy tu do czynienia z dużym ruchem, także komunikacji miejskiej – tłumaczy wiceprezydent Wejherowa, Beata Rutkiewicz.
Inwestycja ta jest jednym z szeregu zadań realizowanych w okolicy budowanego parkingu przy cmentarzu przy ulicy Roszczynialskiego w Wejherowie. Nowa droga zyskała nawierzchnię z kostki brukowej, chodniki i nowoczesne oświetlenie ledowe. – Większość środków na jej realizację wyłożyło miasto – mówił dzisiaj wejherowski wicestarosta Witold Reclaf. Ulica Odrębna była ostatnią drogą powiatową na terenie Wejherowa, która nie posiadała twardej nawierzchni.
