Wirtualny spacer po Kaszubach można odbyć w Chmielnie – w nowo otwartym Centrum Edukacji i Promocji LGR Kaszuby.
– Centrum jest otwarte codziennie i będzie pełnić funkcję nowoczesnej informacji turystycznej – mówi dyrektor biura LGR Kaszuby Ewelina Lila.
Lokalna Grupa Rybacka zyskała nową siedzibę, ale miejsce ma służyć przede wszystkim lokalnej społeczności i turystom. Centrum jest częścią Północnego Szlaku Rybackiego – powstającego dzięki 9 grupom rybackim z Pomorza, Warmii i Mazur, a którego celem jest promocja rybackiego rzemiosła. W Chmielnie dodatkowo można odbywać wirtualne podróże po Kaszubach – dzięki sali kinowej wyposażonej w sprzęt do wyświetlania filmów w formacie 3D, czy też multimedialnym grom edukacyjnym. Na potrzeby Centrum Edukacji i Promocji LGR Kaszuby zaadaptowano budynek po byłym przedszkolu przy ulicy Bukowskiego. Jego modernizacja i wyposażenie kosztowały 1 mln 200 tysięcy złotych – były to środki pozyskane przez LGR.
Podobny obiekt, który także jest jedną z kotwic Północnego Szlaku Rybackiego, w niedzielę otwarto we Władysławowie. Tamtejsze Centrum Promocji i Edukacji nosi nazwę MËRK i jest własnością Północnokaszubskiej Lokalnej Grupy Rybackiej. (Fot.: Piotr Zatoń/LGR Kaszuby)
