Wieża widokowa i ścieżka edukacyjna ma powstać w Rumi
Wieżę widokową i ścieżkę edukacyjną – chcą w Rumi wybudować i wytyczyć na tzw. Górze Markowca.
To wzgórze, z którego jest świetny widok na miasto, a przy dobrej pogodzie także na zatokę. Na jego szczycie zachowały się pozostałości niemieckiej baterii przeciwlotniczej z czasów drugiej wojny światowej. Przebiega tędy pieszy szlak turystyczny, to miejsce także popularne wśród młodzieży.
– Miasto chce te grunty przejąć na własność, na razie podpisano umowę z właścicielem na 10-cio letnie użyczenie – informuje burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
Teren ma zostać zagospodarowany tak, by mógł być wizytówką miasta. Na zagospodarowanie Góry Markowca Rumia chce zdobyć dofinansowanie z unijnego programu, w którym pozyskać można nawet 85% kosztu całej inwestycji.
