Węzeł „Kwiatowa” w Wejherowie z 19. milionowym dofinansowaniem
Budowa wiaduktu, parkingów, przebudowa skrzyżowań, udogodnienia dla pieszych i rowerzystów – powstaną w Wejherowie w ramach tzw. węzła Kwiatowa w pobliżu dworca PKP. Miasto otrzymało na ten cel prawie 19 mln zł dofinansowania.
To jedna z trzech strategicznych inwestycji komunikacyjnych w Wejherowie, obok budowanego obecnie Węzła Śmiechowo – Zryw i już wybudowanego Zachodniego Połączenia Drogowego Wejherowa Węzeł Działki. Budowa pozwoli na bezkolizyjne połączenie dwóch części miasta, przedzielonych drogą krajową nr 6 i torami kolejowymi – opisuje prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt, który podpisał już z pomorskim marszałkiem umowę o dofinansowaniu inwestycji z tzw. ZIT-u. Opiewała ona na prawie 19 mln zł, koszt całej inwestycji to około 48 mln zł – ma być gotowa za dwa lata.
Dotację na podobne przedsięwzięcia otrzymały ostatnio m.in. Gdynia, Sopot, Puck, gmina Wejherowo oraz samorządy Władysławowa i Jastarni.
