Weterani piłki nożnej walczyli o Mistrzostwo Województwa LZS
Drużyna ze Starogardu Gdańskiego zwycięzcą 17 Mistrzostw Województwa Pomorskiego Ludowych Zespołów Sportowych w piłce nożnej weteranów.
– Świetną organizację turnieju podkreślał zastępca dyrektora departamentu edukacji i sportu Urzędu Marszałkowskiego Maciej Kowalczuk.
Na stadionie w Linii rywalizowało 10 sześcioosobowych drużyn z Pomorza, m.in z Pucka, Łeby, Lęborka, Luzina czy Słupska. Choć sportowych emocji nie brakowało, piłkarze chwalili przede wszystkim dobrą zabawę. Dodaje dyrektor Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury, Jan Trofimowicz. W finałowym meczu wyższość zawodników ze Starogardu musieli uznać zawodnicy Gedanii Gdańsk, mimo że ich bramki bronił Dariusz Osiniak uznany za najlepszego bramkarza turnieju. Na trzecim miejscu uplasowała się drużyna AP Marko GOL również z Gdańska – napastnik z tego klubu Mirosław Jurczyk z 10 bramkami na koncie zdobył koronę króla strzelców.
