Werner Rzeźnikowski Honorowym Obywatelem Kościerzyny
Bohater II wojny światowej Werner Rzeźnikowski został Honorowym Obywatelem Kościerzyny. Insygnia odebrał wczoraj podczas uroczystej sesji Rady Miasta.
Laureat w tym roku skończył 98 lat. Był więźniem w obozie koncentracyjnym w Sztutowie i ocalał z Marszu Śmierci. Po wojnie tworzył harcerstwo w Kościerzynie. I to właśnie harcerze, obok władz miasta i przedstawicieli wielu instytucji – dziękowali mu wczoraj za jego działalność. Wernerowi Rzeźnikowskiemu dziękowali wczoraj również członkowie Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego w Łubianie, w którego szeregach laureat działa od ubiegłego roku.
Tytuł Honorowego Obywatela w Kościerzynie wręczono po raz trzynasty.
