Wejherowskie obchody 35-lecia NSZZ „Solidarność”
Wspomnienia wejherowskich działaczy Solidarności – zawiera publikacja zaprezentowana na powiatowych obchodach 35-lecia Solidarności w Wejherowie.
– Książkę „XXXV lat NSZZ Solidarność” dedykowałem szczególnie wejherowskiej solidarności, jest też część poświęcona księdzu Jerzemu Popiełuszce – opisuje autor publikacji Mirosław Lademann. Dodaje że najobszerniejsza część to relacje wejherowskich działaczy.
Mirosław Lademann zebrał w niej relacje 13 osób, świadków i uczestników wydarzeń które zaowocowały podpisaniem porozumień sierpniowych, powstania Solidarności i zapoczątkowaniem przemian w 1989 roku. Walczyli o godne życie, o prawo do wyrażania swoich poglądów – w piątek w auli Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 1 podzielili się tymi wspomnieniami z młodzieżą. Ich punktem kulminacyjnym było w sobotę poświęcenie ołtarza Błogosławionego księdza Jerzego Popiełuszki, patrona Solidarności, w kościele pod wezwaniem Chrystusa Króla i Błogosławionej Alicji Kotowskiej. Rocznicowe obchody odbywały się podczas weekendu także w Gdyni i Gdańsku. Dziś w uroczystościach w kościele św. Brygidy i przed bramą nr 2 Stoczni Gdańskiej weźmie udział prezydent Andrzej Duda.
