Wejherowskie muzeum odrestauruje prace Franciszki Majkowskiej – twórczyni Wejherowskiej Szkoły Haftu Kaszubskiego. Placówka pozyskała na ten cel 45 tysięcy złotych dotacji.
O prowadzonych projektach i najbliższych planach opowiedział w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby dyrektor Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej Tomasz Fopke. Dotację przyznaną przez Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego pozyskano na konserwację rysunków ornamentyki haftu kaszubskiego Franciszki Majkowskiej. Oprócz prac Franciszki Majkowskiej odrestaurowana zostanie kolekcja zdjęć jej brata, Aleksandra Majkowskiego. Jeszcze w tym roku wspólnie z wydawnictwem Region wejherowskie muzeum chce zakończyć serię śpiewników kaszubskich. Po Śpiewniku Domowym i Bożonarodzeniowym zamierza wydać śpiewnik dla dzieci.
