Wejherowscy radni PO chcą zmian w budżecie obywatelskim – m. in. konsultacji przed głosowaniem na projekty. Swoich pięć pomysłów przedstawili dziś na zwołanej w tym celu konferencji.
– Budżet obywatelski miałby też ruszyć szybciej niż w ubiegłym roku, bo już na początku stycznia – wyjaśnia przewodniczący klubu radnych PO Samorządność, Arkadiusz Szczygieł.
Najistotniejszym jest zwiększenie puli pieniędzy: milion złotych na tzw. twarde inwestycje i 200 tysięcy na wydarzenia kulturalne i sportowe. Na każdą pulę mieszkańcy głosowaliby oddzielnie, a zadania miały by być realizowane nie tylko na obiektach miejskich, ale także – za zgodą właścicieli – na terenach gminnych, powiatowych i wojewódzkich. Ostatnią proponowaną zmianą jest wprowadzenie konsultacji społecznych przed głosowaniem na projekty. – Co pomoże uniknąć nieporozumień, jakie miały miejsce w pierwszej edycji – mówi Rafał Szlas z komisji zdrowia, sportu i rekreacji rady miasta. Propozycje radnych PO czekają teraz na opinię prezydenta Wejherowa i Rady Miasta.
