W Wejherowie powstaje promenada – ma połączyć Filharmonię Kaszubską z centrum miasta. Wejherowo, wzorem nadmorskich kurortów, chce mieć promenadę po której będą mogli spacerować mieszkańcy i odwiedzający miasto turyści. Będzie to chodnik o szerokości ośmiu metrów okolony ławeczkami, ma się tam też pojawić jedna z nut ze szlaku nut kaszubskich. – Promenada ma prowadzić gości z Filharmonii Kaszubskiej do rynku i być przedłużeniem popularnego deptaku – wyjaśnia Jacek Thiel z Urzędu Miejskiego w Wejherowie. Na razie powstaje odcinek o długości 170 metrów przy ulicy Sobieskiego. To pierwszy etap inwestycji. Pierwszy fragment promenady będzie kosztował 480 tysięcy złotych, ma być gotowy do końca sierpnia.
