W związku z ASF w teren ruszyli Powiatowi Lekarze Weterynarii
Będą kontrole gospodarstw, w których hodowana jest trzoda chlewna na Pomorzu. W związku z zagrożeniem chorobą ASF w teren ruszyli Powiatowi Lekarze Weterynarii.
– Dlatego trzymanie się procedur jest teraz niezmiernie ważne – mówi Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, Powiatowy Lekarz Weterynarii w Kościerzynie.
Kontrole są związane z nowym rozporządzeniem Ministerstwa Rolnictwa, które wprowadza restrykcyjne zasady bioasekuracji dla hodowców trzody chlewnej. Mają one uchronić Pomorze przed wirusem ASF. Jego ogniska odnotowano w lutym w okolicach Braniewa, niecałe 50 km od granic naszego województwa. W powiecie kościerskim do skontrolowania jest prawie 1 tys 300 gospodarstw rolnych. – Będziemy sprawdzać przede wszystkim legalność hodowli – podkreśla Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.
W przypadku stwierdzenia uchybień podczas kontroli, hodowcy otrzymają czas na ich usunięcie. W drastycznych przypadkach inspektorzy weterynarii będą wydawać decyzje o czasowym zawieszeniu działalności hodowlanej dla rolników.
