W Zespole Szkół w Żelistrzewie świętowano 179 rocznicę otwarcia
Pierwszy uczeń zasiadł w jej murach prawie dwieście lat temu – w Zespole Szkół w Żelistrzewie świętowano 179 rocznicę otwarcia placówki.
– To solidna marka na edukacyjnym rynku – mówi wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Obchodzono potrójny jubileusz – 30 lat minęło od nadania szkole imienia Jana III Sobieskiego, 10 lat temu król został patronem tamtejszego gimnazjum. Podczas uroczystości w szkolnej sali gimnastycznej dyrektor placówki Jolanta Bieszke dziękowała nauczycielom i rodzicom zaangażowanym w życie szkoły. Placówka pochwalić się może laureatami olimpiad matematycznych, fizycznych i biologicznych na poziomie wojewódzkim, a także – najlepszymi wynikami gimnazjalnych egzaminów wewnętrznych w gminie Puck. Zespół Szkół w Żelistrzewie to obecnie największa placówka oświatowa w gminie Puck – uczęszcza do niej niemal siedmiuset uczniów.
