W Wejherowskim parku miejskim powstanie nowy plac zabaw
W parku miejskim w Wejherowie rozpoczęła się budowa nowego placu zabaw. Powstanie obok siłowni zewnętrznej, która ma być rozbudowana. To kolejny etap rewitalizacji parkowych przestrzeni.
Od dekady park imienia Aleksandra Majkowskiego w Wejherowie zmieniany jest w miejsce sprzyjające wypoczynkowi i rekreacji. Przemiana rozpoczęła się w 2008 roku od melioracji, powstała kawiarenka i scena letnia. Potem wybudowano nowe ścieżki, altanę widokową, zespół placów zabaw i siłownię fitness, wykonano też łukowy most nad pogłębionym i wyczyszczonym kanałem. Teraz powstanie plac zabaw dla dzieci wyposażony w trampoliny, huśtawkę i ściankę aktywności. Przybędzie też namiot do wspinaczki i siłownia zewnętrzna z dodatkowymi dziesięcioma urządzeniami. Zamontowane zostaną również elementy dodatkowe: ławeczki, stojak rowerowy i stolik do gry w szachy. Całkowity koszt to 273 tys zł. Miasto pozyskało na ten cel 50 tys zł z Funduszu Rozwoju Kultury Fizycznej w ramach programu dotyczącego powstawania Otwartych Stref Aktywności.
Prace mają się zakończyć w sierpniu, a do 28 września Zakład Usług Komunalnych w Wejherowie ma pozyskać pozwolenie na użytkowanie.
