W Wejherowie zakończono budowę ronda na skrzyżowaniu Wniebowstąpienia, Judyckiego i 12 Marca
W Wejherowie oficjalnie zakończono budowę ronda na skrzyżowaniu Wniebowstąpienia, Judyckiego i 12 Marca. Ma upłynnić ruch oraz poprawić bezpieczeństwo pieszych i kierowców.
Dochodziło tam często do stłuczek, utrudniony był zwłaszcza wyjazd z ulicy 12 Marca ze względu na ograniczoną widoczność. Oprócz ronda powstały wyspy rozdzielające pasy ruchu, chodniki oraz ścieżka rowerowa – łącznik między szlakiem wzdłuż rzeki Cedron ze ścieżką przy 12. Marca. To wspólna inwestycja miasta i powiatu, kosztowała 2 mln 700 tys zł. Z tego samorząd powiatowy przekazał 1 mln 100 tys zł, a miasto resztę pozyskało z dotacji rządowej. W Wejherowie w najbliższym czasie ma powstać kolejne rondo – w ulicy 12 Marca w pobliżu przejazdu kolejowego.
