Przedszkole dla niepełnosprawnych dzieci powstanie w Wejherowie
W nowoczesne przedszkole dla niepełnosprawnych dzieci zmieni się w ciągu roku dawny budynek Wojskowej Komendy Uzupełnień w Wejherowie. Umowę na jego modernizację podpisały władze powiatu z Powiatowym Zespołem Kształcenia Specjalnego.
– To ostatni, brakujący element naszej oferty edukacyjnej – mówi dyrektor Powiatowego Zespołu Kształcenia Specjalnego Małgorzata Woźniak.
W przedszkolu znajdą opiekę dzieci autystyczne oraz z niepełnosprawnościami intelektualnymi i motorycznymi. Odbywać się w nim będą zajęcia wczesnego wspomagania oraz lekcje dla niższych klas wchodzącej w skład Zespołu podstawówki. Po gruntownym remoncie w budynku znajdą się m.in. sale edukacyjne, rehabilitacji indywidualnej, integracji sensorycznej i hydromasażu. Będzie też winda. – Prawie czterdzieści procent kosztu pokryje unijna dotacja, resztę dołożymy z budżetu powiatu – mówi wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius. Transformacja dawnego budynku WKU w Wejherowie na pierwsze w powiecie publiczne przedszkole dla dzieci niepełnosprawnych ma potrwać niecały rok – do przyszłego września.
