Będzie się mieścił przy ulicy Łęgowskiego. Budowa ma się rozpocząć jeszcze w tym roku – zapowiedział miejski samorząd na swoim portalu internetowym.
W grudniu rada miasta przychyliła się do propozycji prezydenta o wniesieniu na ten cel działki budowlanej do zasobów Wejherowskiego Towarzystwa Budownictwa Społecznego. Podmioty z doświadczeniem w budownictwie mieszkaniowym jak WTBS mogą się ubiegać o dofinansowanie z Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Przy ulicy Łęgowskiego powstanie czterokondygnacyjny budynek komunalny, w którym znajdzie się prawie 80 mieszkań. Będą one 1, 2 i 3-pokojowe z pełnym węzłem sanitarnym. Mają być ogrzewane z lokalnej kotłowni gazowej. Dla każdego lokalu przewidziano także jedno miejsce postojowe.
Według planu miejskiego samorządu budowa ma się rozpocząć w tym roku, a zakończyć w przyszłym. Wnioski o przydział bądź zamianę mieszkania można pobrać z Urzędu Miejskiego, a wypełnione składać do Wydziału Spraw Lokalowych. Decyzję o zasiedleniu podejmie Prezydent Miasta Wejherowa.
