W Wejherowie otwarto rodzinny plac zabaw przy ulicy Iwaszkiewicza
Kosztował miasto ponad 170 tys zł. Miejski samorząd skorzystał z podpowiedzi mieszkańców – bo taka propozycja była w ubiegłorocznym budżecie obywatelskim.
Projekt nie zdobył wtedy wystarczającej liczby głosów. Budowę skonsultowano z mieszkańcami osiedla, miejski samorząd pozyskał też 50 tys zł z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki w ramach programu Otwarte Strefy Aktywności. Na placu zabaw przy Iwaszkiewicza znajdują się urządzenia fitness – surfer i biegacz, wioślarz oraz orbitrek. Dzieci mogą korzystać z pomostów, zjeżdżalni i huśtawek. Jest też piaskownica i ścianka wspinaczkowa, można również zagrać w szachy i warcaby. Do tego utwardzono i zagospodarowano przyległy teren, ustawiono ławki i ławostół.
