W Wejherowie otwarto boisko na osiedlu Sucharskiego
To zwycięski projekt pierwszej edycji wejherowskiego budżetu obywatelskiego. Boisko zebrało największą ilość głosów – za jego budową opowiedziało się 1611 wejherowian. Było też jedną z najdroższych inwestycji zeszłorocznej edycji budżetu, kosztowało ponad 170 tysięcy złotych.
– Pomysł utworzenia takiego obiektu chodził za nami już od lat, cieszymy się że wreszcie się udało – mówi wnioskodawca projektu, radny osiedla Dariusz Kreft.
Na nowym boisku można grać w tenisa, siatkówkę i koszykówkę, jest ogrodzone i wyposażone w sztuczną nawierzchnię. Będzie otwarte dla każdego. Nadzór nad nim pełnić będą mieszkańcy osiedla Sucharskiego, którego radę – najstarszą w mieście – chwali za aktywność prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Radni zapowiadają udział w kolejnych edycjach budżetu obywatelskiego – w planach mają m. in. budowę placu zabaw, trawiastego boiska do piłki nożnej i osiedlowej świetlicy.
