W Wejherowie oficjalnie oddano do użytku Centrum Sportowe Tytani
W Wejherowie oficjalnie oddano do użytku Centrum Sportowe Tytani. Mieści się ono na osiedlu Kaszubskim przy ulicy Kochanowskiego.
To jeden z projektów budżetu obywatelskiego wybranych przez mieszkańców miasta do realizacji. Pomysłodawcą był Klub Sportowy „Tytani” Wejherowo. Centrum powstawało etapami i kosztowało w sumie około pół mln zł. Najpierw wybudowano bieżnię i trzy boiska: do koszykówki, piłki ręcznej i piłki siatkowej plażowej. W drugim etapie powstała siłownia zewnętrzna i plac zabaw dla dzieci. Cały obiekt jest oświetlony, monitorowany i ogrodzony. By zachęcić do korzystania z Centrum Sportowego Tytani klub zapowiada organizację pierwszego, oficjalnego turnieju „Szkoła na sportowo”. Odbędzie się on około 8-9 września.
