W Wejherowie oddano do użytku nowy odcinek ulicy Lelewela
W Wejherowie oddano do użytku nowy odcinek ulicy Lelewela – który ma już usprawnić ruch w mieście a w przyszłości także być wsparciem dla Trasy Kaszubskiej.
– Choć ten odcinek znajduje się poza centrum, to będzie istotnym elementem odciążenia miejskiego ruchu – mówi wiceprezydent Wejherowa, Beata Rutkiewicz.
Przedłużenie ulicy Lelewela łączy się z ulicą Nadrzeczną, dzięki czemu mieszkańcy tej części Wejherowa zyskają połączenie z planowanym Węzłem Zryw. Nowy odcinek drogi jest skanalizowany i oświetlony, wybudowano go razem z chodnikami i ścieżkami rowerowymi. Według planów ciąg komunikacyjny między Lelewela i Węzłem Zryw ma być wsparciem Trasy Kaszubskiej. – Pozwoli na sprawne skanalizowanie ruchu turystycznego na półwysep helski z pominięciem krajowej 6 – mówi prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Prace nad przedłużeniem ulicy Lelewela rozpoczęły się pod koniec maja, całkowity koszt wyniósł około 2 milionów złotych.
