W Wejherowie kolejne utrudnienia dla kierowców
W Wejherowie kolejne utrudnienia dla kierowców. Do zmian organizacji ruchu w pobliżu dworca w związku z budową „węzła kwiatowa” dołącza ruch wahadłowy na ulicy Ofiar Piaśnicy. Do końca roku powstanie tam rondo – na skrzyżowaniu drogi wojewódzkiej nr 218 z ulicami Graniczną i Lelewela.
– Obydwie inwestycje mają poprawić bezpieczeństwo podróżujących – mówi wiceprezydent Wejherowa Beata Rutkiewicz.
W planach jest też drugie, u zbiegu z ulicą Karnowskiego, które miejski samorząd wybuduje w przyszłym roku. Ruch wahadłowy obowiązuje na odcinku między planowanymi rondami na ulicy Ofiar Piaśnicy. Kierowcy zachęcani są do korzystania z objazdów. Obydwa ronda w ciągu Ofiar Piaśnicy mają być gotowe do końca maja przyszłego roku. Ich budowa będzie kosztowała miejski samorząd 3,5 mln złotych, 1 milion dołoży wejherowskie starostwo powiatowe, a pół mln zł gdyńskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji.
