W tym roku ruszy rozbudowa sieci kanalizacyjnej w Kartuzach
Jeszcze w tym roku ruszą prace przy rozbudowie sieci kanalizacji deszczowej w Kartuzach. Dzięki temu do kartuskich jezior ma spływać mniej zanieczyszczeń.
– Tyczy się to ulic: Zamkowej, Sędzickiego, i Jeziornej. Tam też powstaną zbiorniki retencyjne – tłumaczy burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński.
W mieście powstaną nowe ciągi kanalizacyjne oraz zbiorniki oczyszczające wody opadowe. Rozbudowa sieci ma być pierwszym krokiem rekultywacji kartuskich jezior. Kartuskie akweny są jednymi z najbardziej zanieczyszczonych w Polsce. Władze od lat próbują uporać się z tym problemem, jednak kolejne rozwiązania zawodzą. Niebawem gmina ma ogłosić przetarg na to zadanie. Samorządowi udało się uzyskać prawie 8 mln zł dofinansowania, a wartość całego projektu opiewa na prawie 14 mln zł.
