W szpitalu w Wejherowie zakończono remont Poradni Onkologicznej
W szpitalu w Wejherowie zakończono kolejny etap modernizacji Poradni Onkologicznej. Poprawiły się warunki, w jakich pacjenci oczekują na wizytę – na korytarzu wymalowano ściany, położono nową wykładzinę, wymieniono sufit wraz z oświetleniem, postawiono ścianę oddzielającą poradnię od korytarza.
Odnowiono też i wyposażono dwa gabinety lekarskie. Remont kosztował 52 tysiące złotych. Z tego niecałe 9 tys. ze środków własnych wydał szpital, resztę dołożyli sponsorzy – w tym 28 tys. zł firmy zrzeszone w Norda-Biznes i prawie 21 tys zł Stowarzyszenie Onkologia dla Pomorza.
Wejherowska Poradnia Onkologiczna powstała w 2007 roku na bazie Poradni Profilaktyki Chorób Piersi. Zajmowała wówczas 2 pomieszczenia, pracował tam jeden lekarz przyjmując średnio 174 osób miesięcznie. W ubiegłym roku liczba ta wzrosła do 1 tys 225 osób miesięcznie, w poradni pracuje teraz 20 osób. Oprócz trzech gabinetów lekarskich jest też m.in. gabinet zabiegowy i 3 sale chemioterapii.
