W Śmiechowie zakończono remont czterech ulic
W Wejherowie Śmiechowie zakończono remont czterech ulic i zapowiedziano dalsze inwestycje drogowe w tej najstarszej dzielnicy miasta.
– Odebrane dzisiaj ulice to tylko niewielki fragment zmian, jakie czekają Śmiechowo – zapowiada prezydent Wejherowa, Krzysztof Hildebrandt.
Nową nawierzchnię zyskały ulice: Poprzeczna, Środkowa i Architektów oraz fragment ulicy Wschodniej. Inwestycja wpisuje się w plan modernizacji układu drogowego Wejherowa, który ma rozwiązać problemy komunikacyjne we wschodniej części miasta. W jego ramach ma powstać m. in. Węzeł Zryw, czyli bezkolizyjne połączenie północnej i południowej części Śmiechowa czy budowany obecnie parking przy ulicy Roszczynialskiego na 300 samochodów.
Fragment ulicy Wschodniej, oraz ulice Architektów, Poprzeczna i Środkowa zostały wyrównane i pokryte płytami Jomb. – Do końca roku maja być zakończone pozostałe modernizacje w tym obszarze – deklaruje kierownik wydziału inwestycji, gospodarki komunalnej i ochrony środowiska z Urzędu Miasta Stanisław Brzozowski. Praca nad odebranymi dzisiaj drogami trwały dwa miesiące, koszt inwestycji przekroczył 400 tys złotych.
