W Sierakowicach powstanie Zakład Przetwarzania Odpadów Komunalnych
W Sierakowicach powstanie Zakład Przetwarzania Odpadów Komunalnych. Będą do niego trafiać osady z oczyszczalni ścieków, które następnie przetworzone zostaną na nawóz dla rolników.
– Cały proces nie będzie uciążliwy dla otoczenia, bo odbywać się będzie w zamkniętej hali – zapewnia prezes sierakowickiego Przedsiębiorstwa Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Tomasz Zdanowicz.
Dzięki temu, sierakowicki PWiK pozbędzie się kosztów związanych z ich utylizacją i zapewni sobie zarobek. Do Sierakowic co roku trafia ponad 7 tysięcy ton komunalnych osadów. W tym roku ma zostać przygotowana dokumentacja i rozstrzygnięty przetarg, w przyszłym roku rozpocznie się budowa zakładu. Gminna spółka pozyskała na ten cel 16 mln zł. Środki te mają być też przeznaczone na budowę kanalizacji, wodociągu i modernizację oczyszczalni ścieków.
