W Rumi zbudują od podstaw ulicę Bądkowskiego
Przebudowane zostanie też skrzyżowanie ulic Gdańskiej i Pomorskiej. Oba projekty – miejski oraz powiatowy ze wsparciem miasta – otrzymały dofinansowanie ze schetynówek.
Dla mieszkańców ulicy Bądkowskiego pozyskanie dotacji przez miasto oznacza skok jakościowy w dwudziesty pierwszy wiek – gruntowa droga zyska nawierzchnię z kostki brukowej, powstaną też chodniki. Koszt jej budowy oszacowano na ponad 1 mln 200 tys. zł, połowę pokryje dotacja.
Z tzw. schetynówek na modernizację ulicy Bądkowskiego Rumia pozyskała ponad 640 tysięcy złotych. Powiat wejherowski – w partnerstwie z miastem – otrzymał prawie 800 tysięcy złotych na budowę ronda u zbiegu Gdańskiej i Pomorskiej. Drugie tyle samorządy muszą dołożyć po połowie ze swoich budżetów.
