W Rumi przy ulicy Derdowskiego powstał przystanek autobusowy z wiatą, o który wnioskowali mieszkańcy. O inwestycję zabiegali głównie pacjenci przychodni NZOZ nr 1 – w większości seniorzy, korzystający z pobliskiego, niezadaszonego przystanku.
Przesunięcie go i wybudowanie wiaty w obrębie przychodni było możliwe dzięki porozumieniu z właścicielem lecznicy. Zielone światło dla inwestycji dało też zbudowanie parkingu na kilkadziesiąt samochodów przy ulicy Puławskiego – czytamy na stronie internetowej rumia.eu. Wykonawca przystąpił do działania tuż po świętach wielkanocnych, dzięki czemu przystanek z wiatą na Derdowskiego przekazano do użytku wcześniej niż planowano.
