W Rumi powstanie węzeł integracyjny – przy dworcu w Janowie
Za kilka lat ma całkowicie zmienić jakość komunikacji w mieście – węzeł integracyjny w Rumi Janowie ma już projektanta. Przedstawiciele władz miasta i współinwestora, PKP SKM podpisali umowę na wykonanie dokumentacji technicznej z gdańską firmą Znak.
To jedna z największych inwestycji drogowych w historii miasta, szacowana na około 30 milionów złotych. Jak przekonuje burmistrz Rumi, Michał Pasieczny – niezbędna, bo ukierunkowanie komunikacji na kolej to jedyny sposób na odkorkowanie krajowej „6”. Dodaje prezes zarządu trójmiejskiej SKM, Maciej Lignowski. Pierwszy etap – budowę zadaszonego dworca wyposażonego w windy SKM-ka chce zacząć jeszcze w tym roku. Równolegle firma Znak będzie projektować samorządową część inwestycji – m. in. budowę ponad 250. miejsc parkingowych, chodników i tunelu umożliwiającego szybki dostęp na perony. – Ten element stanowi największe wyzwanie i właśnie od niego zaczniemy – mówi inżynier projektu Jacek Michałowski. Projekt węzła integracyjnego w Rumi i pozwolenie na jego budowę mają być gotowe do końca lutego przyszłego roku.
