Nowy deptak w Rumi gotowy na 19. Zjazd Kaszubów

Do pierwszego lipca deptak będzie gotowy – zapewniają w Rumi. Miasto będzie gospodarzem 19-tego Światowego Zjazdu Kaszubów, goście będą m.in. spacerować po nowym trakcie wzdłuż Zagórskiej Strugi.
– To ułatwi nam organizację imprezy, a gościom poruszanie się po różnych jej strefach – opisuje przewodniczący rady miasta Ariel Sinicki.
Ponad 600 metrów chodnika wraz ze ścieżką rowerową połączy Miejski Dom Kultury z ulicą Dębogórską i uzupełni wybudowany w ubiegłym roku ciąg pieszy od torów kolejowych do ulicy Abrahama. Samorządowcy z Rumi mają plany na dalszą rozbudowę deptaka: jeszcze w tym roku zostanie zainstalowany tam monitoring, a w przyszłym powstaną kolejne odcinki, łączące deptak z ulicami Starowiejską i Mickiewicza. Budowa deptaka wzdłuż Zagórskiej Strugi kosztuje budżet Rumi ponad 1 milion 300 tysięcy złotych.
