W Rumi oddawali krew, szukali dawców szpiku i zbierali na WOŚP
Mieszkańcy Rumi zjednoczyli siły, by pomagać potrzebującym. Tradycyjnie rok rozpoczęli zbiórką krwi. Samorząd włączył się również w poszukiwanie genetycznego bliźniaka dla chorego na anemię aplastyczną Damiana.
Po raz 15 w Rumi zagrała Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy. Weekend w Rumi zakończyło “Światełko do nieba”. O godzinie 20.00 na koncie tamtejszego sztabu Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy było prawie 40 tysięcy złotych zebranych w puszkach i ponad 17 tysięcy złotych uzyskanych z licytacji.
