W Rumi odbędzie się Bieg Pamięci Żołnierzy Wyklętych
Rumia znów pobiegnie dla Żołnierzy Wyklętych. W mieście zachęcają do udziału i liczą, że tak jak w ubiegłym roku frekwencja będzie jedną z największych w Polsce.
W rumskiej edycji udział wzięło 700 osób. Bieg Pamięci Żołnierzy Wyklętych – Tropem Wilczym odbędzie się 3 marca w ponad 360 miejscowościach w kraju i za granicą. Wydarzenie organizowane jest po raz siódmy, jest hołdem dla żołnierzy polskiego podziemia antykomunistycznego i antysowieckiego. Dystans związany jest z datą śmierci ostatniego Żołnierza Wyklętego, którym był poległy w 1963 roku Józef Franczak. W Rumi uczestnicy wystartują o 12:05 spod Ronda Armii Krajowej, a zakończą rywalizację przy hali Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji. Na każdą osobę, która ukończy bieg, będzie czekać pamiątkowy medal oraz ciepły posiłek. Lista uczestników ograniczona jest do 650 osób. Elektroniczne zapisy przyjmowane są do 25 lutego.
