W Rumi coraz więcej zgłoszeń w sprawie dzików
W Rumi spływa coraz więcej zgłoszeń w sprawie dzików, które zapuszczają się w głąb miasta. Zwierzęta te w ostatnim czasie były widziane m.in. przy ulicy Dąbrowskiego, Poznańskiej i Sobieskiego.
Z apelem o zgłaszanie takich sytuacji miejscy urzędnicy zwrócili się na facebookowym profilu miasta. Tam też opublikowano numery telefonów do straży miejskiej i Referatu Obrony Cywilnej Urzędu Miasta. Gmina ma umowę z lekarzem weterynarii, który interweniuje w przypadku zgłoszenia obecności dzików w mieście. Jego działania są doraźne i polegają głównie na odstraszaniu dzików przy pomocy armatek hukowych czy środków chemicznych. Dziki są też odławiane po otrzymaniu zgody starosty powiatu wejherowskiego. Na przełomie tego i ubiegłego roku złapano i wywieziono 13 zwierząt. Należy pamiętać, że dziki przyciąga przede wszystkim łatwy dostęp do pożywienia, dlatego absolutnie nie wolno ich dokarmiać.
