W Redzie remontują najstarsze ulice w mieście
W Redzie utwardzono latem niemal pół kilometra dróg i położono ponad półtora kilometra chodników – to początek samorządowego planu modernizacji najstarszych i najbardziej zatłoczonych ulic w mieście.
– To umożliwi mieszkańcom dzielnicy Ciechocino ominięcie korków podczas dojeżdżania do centrum miasta – wyjaśnia wiceburmistrz Redy, Halina Grzeszczuk.
Nową nawierzchnię z płyt YOMB położono na fragmentach ulic Żytniej, Jęczmiennej i Chmielnej, kończą się prace na Biwakowej, a w planach na bieżący rok redzki samorząd ma jeszcze modernizację kolejnych trzech odcinków: Wiklinową, Miętową i Świeżyńskiego. W ramach inwestycji przebudowano też łącznie ponad 1 tysiąc 770 metrów chodników na ulicach: Jarej, Łąkowej, Św.Wojciecha i Brzechwy, do końca miesiąca rozpoczną się prace przy ulicy Rzecznej. To jedne z najstarszych ulic miasta – w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat zmodernizowanych ma zostać kilkanaście takich odcinków.
Do końca roku na modernizację jezdni i chodników redzki samorząd wyda ponad 900 tysięcy złotych, do końca 2018 roku – kolejny milion.
