W Redzie kończą renowację komunalnego cmentarza
Jeszcze przed dniem Wszystkich Świętych cmentarz komunalny w Redzie zmieni swoje oblicze. Spękane asfaltowe alejki będą miały nową nawierzchnię, wygodniej będzie też zaparkować.
– Był już najwyższy czas by uporządkować to ważne dla nas miejsce – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Cmentarz przy ulicy Gniewowskiej powstał w latach siedemdziesiątych i od tamtego czasu nie prowadzono przy nim żadnych poważniejszych prac remontowych. Gotowy jest już nowy, brukowany podjazd oraz zatoczki dla handlujących kwiatami i zniczami. Dobiegają końca prace nad montażem nowego ogrodzenia, asfalt na cmentarnych alejkach zostanie zastąpiony brukową kostką. Według zapowiedzi redzkiego samorządu remont ma się zakończyć przed 1 listopada.
