W Redzie dobiega końca modernizacja remizy – ma być bardziej funkcjonalna, energooszczędna i ładniejsza. Na remont i przebudowę siedziby OSP miejski samorząd pozyskał unijne dofinansowanie.
– Finał ma być taki, że budynek przy skrzyżowaniu głównych ulic miasta przestanie straszyć – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Potem były jednak kłopoty ze znalezieniem wykonawcy, bo w dwóch przetargach nie było chętnych. Pomogły dopiero negocjacje z firmą wykonującą termomodernizację przedszkola. Izolacja ścian i wymiana większości okien pozwoli zaoszczędzić około 40 procent energii przy ogrzewaniu remizy. Pomoże w tym także przeniesienie szatni. Prace w remizie mają być zakończone 15 lutego. Łączny koszt to 1 mln 300 tys zł. Z tego 600 tysięcy Reda pozyskała z unijnych funduszy.
