W Pucku uczczono 99. rocznicę „Zaślubin Polski z Morzem”
99 lat temu odrodzona po zaborach Polska odzyskała dostęp do morza. Wczoraj w Pucku uczczono rocznicę symbolicznego wrzucenia platynowej obrączki w fale przez generała Józefa Hallera.
– Dzisiaj to my jesteśmy odpowiedzialni za to, by tego okna na świat i szansy na rozwój nie zmarnować – mówiła podczas uroczystości burmistrz Pucka Hanna Pruchniewska.
Przypomniała, że w mieście przystępują do długo oczekiwanej rozbudowy portu. Liga Morska i Rzeczna uhonorowała w Pucku między innymi wieloletniego szefa Narodowego Muzeum Morskiego Jerzego Litwina i senatora Jerzego Wcisłę. Dyrektor Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej Mirosław Kuklik przypomniał, że po zaślubinach „błękitny generał” wybrał się w objazd po wybrzeżu. Dzisiaj obchody odbędą się we Władysławowie – o 17:00 msza święta, potem uroczystości pod pomnikami: Antoniego Abrahama i generała Józefa Hallera. O 19:00 w Hallerówce promowana będzie książka „Nie rzucim ziemi” Augustyna Necla.
