W Przyjaźni w gminie Żukowo powstanie potężna Stacja Elektroenergetyczna. Ma poprawić bezpieczeństwo energetyczne północnej Polski.
– Po konsultacjach zdecydowano się ja przenieść na tereny leśne, 700 metrów od zabudowań – mówi sołtys Przyjaźni Krzysztof Krasowski.
Stacja powiązana będzie z liniami: Żarnowiec, Gdańsk Błonia, Pelplin i Żydowo Kierzkowo. Jej realizatorem będzie spółka skarbu państwa – Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, kosztorys opiewa na 120 do 140-u mln złotych. Oprócz stacji Gdańsk Przyjaźń zostanie również wybudowane wprowadzenie do linii Żarnowiec – Gdańsk Błonia – łącznie około 6 km linii. Pierwotny wariant zakładał budowę stacji w centrum wsi, co spotkało się z oporem mieszkańców.
Samorząd zamierza wybudować drogę dojazdową do miejsca inwestycji, która dla gminnego budżetu oznacza wpływy z podatków rzędu dwóch milionów złotych rocznie. To duże przedsięwzięcie na terenie naszej gminy – przyznaje burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski – i ważne dla bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Pomorza. Budowa stacji elektroenergetycznej w Przyjaźni koło Żukowa ma ruszyć w sierpniu przyszłego roku. Wykona ją firma z Chin.
