W powiecie lęborskim uratowano zaginioną 16-latkę – pomoc na czas doprowadził do niej policyjny pies.
Dramatyczne poszukiwania zaginionej dziewczyny prowadzono w niedzielę w gminie Nowa Wieś Lęborska. 16-latka wyszła rano z domu nie informując opiekunów dokąd się wybiera. Niepokój rodziców wzrósł, gdy po kilku godzinach nie powróciła i w żaden sposób nie mogli się z nią skontaktować. Opuszczając dom była ubrana jedynie w leginsy i koszulkę z krótkim rękawem, a dzień był wietrzny i termometr wskazywał zaledwie kilka stopni powyżej zera. Zawiadomiona po południu lęborska policja rozpoczęła poszukiwania.
Pies służbowy Iwo szybko podjął trop, poprowadził swojego przewodnika Bartłomieja Świtkę dwukilometrową trasą przez pola i zagajniki do zaginionej 16-latki. Była wyziębiona i osłabiona, trafiła do szpitala. Jej życiu nie zagraża niebezpieczeństwo.
