W Porcie Gdynia padł kolejny rekord przeładunkowy
W Porcie Gdynia padł kolejny rekord przeładunkowy. Spółka zakończyła ubiegły rok z wynikiem 21 mln 200 tysięcy ton. To o prawie 9 procent więcej niż w ubiegłym roku, co daje najlepsze tempo rozwoju wśród polskich portów.
Rekord wypracowano między innymi dzięki większemu o 40 procent przeładunkowi węgla i koksu oraz ropy i ropopochodnych. W ubiegłym roku w Porcie Gdynia przeładowano także więcej kontenerów, rudy i drewna oraz drobnicy. To wynik „dobrej obsługi statków zawijających do gdyńskich portowych terminali i racjonalnego działania menedżerów oraz efektywnej pracy gdyńskich dokerów – ocenił na stronie spółki prezes Zarządu Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A. Adam Meller. Ma nadzieję na równie udany rok. Rozpoczęto już budowę nowej obrotnicy mającej ułatwić przyjmowanie wielkich, oceanicznych statków. Pozycję gdyńskiego portu ma też wzmocnić powstający nowy, publiczny terminal promowy.
